Physio-Led Strength Training

Physical strength and resilience are vital for injury prevention in sport and also help to support general health and wellbeing.  Many sports tend to bias certain muscle groups, and over time this can cause imbalance in the body and potentially lead to injury.

 

The good news is that even a small amount of regular strength training can help to address this and increase overall performance. Best of all, strength training exercises can be done anywhere – in the gym, at home or in a camper van – and require only minimal equipment.

 

If you’re new to strength training or are currently injured, it can be hard to know where to start and how to train around injuries. I’m here to help you make the most of your training time while you’re healing and provide ongoing support as you progress from recovery goals to performance goals.

 

Your personalised training programme will typically include a combination of rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention and warmup routines, and general strength-building exercises.
