Neck pain can arise for a range of different reasons, from poor posture, overuse or sudden movement to degenerative conditions or trauma. These can often result in dull achy or sharp pain, stiffness and sometimes symptoms in the arms and hands – such as pins and needles, or weakness.
If you’re a climber, runner or cyclist, it’s likely that neck pain will have affected you at some point, to a greater or lesser extent. Left untreated, this pain can seriously hinder you from pursuing your favourite activities.
The good news is that most neck pain can be managed well with physiotherapy.
At Isi Booker Physio, I understand how debilitating this can be, especially for active individuals. I’ll often use a combined approach of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise interventions in order to ease your neck pain. These can be incredibly effective in a just a few sessions.
John Farrar2024-07-10 To Isi with long term lower back pain. After a thorough questioning with recommendations for exercises came a very effective hands-on session on my lower back. The exercise programme was also sent to me by email. Overall a great help and highly recommended. Dawn Brown2024-06-18 I was recommended Isi Booker Physio. The remote appointment worked really well and so convenient. Isi was very professional, easy to understand, and very helpful. I will definitely continue using Isi Booker Physio... thanks Isi 😊 Ailsa Newcombe2024-05-13 I took my daughter to see Isi after a finger injury threatened to derail her climbing competition training. A comprehensive consultation and the follow up exercises soon sorted it out and she was also given some long term exercises for her warm up routine that are specific to her needs which we would never have thought of using otherwise. It helps that Isi climbs herself and so understands how and where climbing stresses our bodies. Bethan Percy2024-05-11 Isi quickly worked out what was wrong with my shoulder and it was feeling much better after just one session. I would highly recommend her. TK2024-05-09 Massive improvement to my injured shoulder following Isi's shoulder classes at the Beacon. Highly recommended, thanks! Andy Teasdale2024-04-12 I've been going to the shoulder conditioning sessions with Isi at the Beacon for the last few weeks. It's been great. I have no real shoulder niggles, but I can feel the benefit of the mobility, stabilising and conditioning training that Isi puts us through. I'd highly recommend this to climbers, or anyone who needs strong, well maintained shoulders!! Thanks Isi. Mark Richards2023-11-08 Easy to book, excellent service and advice.
