Back Pain

Whether an acute strain or a chronic condition such as sciatica, back pain can be incredibly debilitating. Not only does it impact your physical ability in sports or at work, but it can also make it difficult to perform simple day-to-day tasks.


Adventure sports like kayaking, mountain biking, skiing and snowboarding can sometimes lead to back injuries or long-term conditions that prevent you from being able to live your life to the fullest.

Thankfully, back pain doesn’t have to be something you deal with alone.

How I can help

By providing expert assessment and treatment for back pain, I can help you get back to your usual activities as soon as possible.

 

The treatment process will often incorporate a combination of manual therapy – such as massage – mobilisation and therapeutic exercise.

 

I’ll also help you to address contributing factors, like posture, strength, lifting or sporting technique, and find ways in which you can complete everyday tasks in a more back-friendly way.

Meet Isi

I’m a chartered physiotherapist with a passion for outdoor sports. I specialise in treating climbers. I’m here to help you get out of pain and back to doing what you love.
I believe strongly in finding the root cause of your problem – if you just treat the symptoms, the problem will return.
I work with you, taking a holistic approach, looking at aspects such as posture, technique and training load. Because I take this approach, my clients often report that they feel stronger than they were prior to becoming injured. This is always nice to hear!
