Mixed ability Pilates

Suitable for beginner and intermediate level. You need to have a grasp of the basics of Pilates in order to join this class.

Alternatives for some exercises are given so that you can work at an apropriate level whilst continuing to progress.

Intermediate Pilates

Learn more advanced versions of the Pilates exercises and challenge yourself further. 

Suitable for those with some experience.

Post-natal Pilates

Your body goes through a lot during pregnancy. This class is designed to help you feel like yourself again and support you in your post natal recovery. 

The class will help with:
Pelvic floor strength and function
Restoring and strengthening abdominal muscles
Restoring and improving brain - body connection
Improving posture and reducing aches and pains, for example in the upper back, neck, low back and pelvis/sacro iliac joints

Pre-natal Pilates

There is currenly no separate pre-natal class. However, pregnant ladies are welcome to join a mixed ability class.

 
Classical Pilates exercises can be adapted for your changing body. Practicing Pilates during pregnancy is safe and has benefit for both you and your baby. 

It can reduce complications during birth, help to reduce your recovery time post-birth and help to alleviate aches and pains associated with being pregnant.

1:1 or 1:2

1 hour of personal teaching to help you get to grips with the basics of Pilates before attending classes. We go through breathing, posture and how to engage your pelvic floor muscles and core. We cover several of the key exercises. There is also time to go through any specific adjustments that may be necessary if you have an injury or condition that impacts your ability to exercise.

1:1 sessions can also be done regularly either instead of, or along side group classes. 

You can attend this session with a friend and split the cost.
